If I enroll, can I live in Toyota Woven City?

Residency is not provided with enrollment. (Currently, Toyota Woven City is not generally recruiting residents.)

Our school accepts enrollment from individuals who are not residents of Toyota Woven City.

We are not currently open on these days.

Irrespective of parents’ work status our service can be used.

In the case of sickness, can my child still attend child care? What happens if they suddenly get sick?
A
We apologise but we are unable to allow sick children to attend day care. In the case of sudden sickness, parents will be contacted and asked to come and collect them and depending on the circumstance your child could be taken to a nerby hospital.

How do you respond to earthquakes, typhoons and other natural disasters?
A
When you child is in our care, we will respond urgently and ensure their safety. Connected to this, children will remain in our care until parents are able to collect them.

How do you cater to any allergies?

We may not be able to cater to these but please notify us in advance of any allergies.

What is the difference between “Community” and “Class”?
A
“Community” is a full-time preschool (childcare facility) . “Class” is is a regular lesson or activity that children attend.

A
Enrollment acceptance is given provided your child can hold up its own head.

Children from 1.5 years old can enroll.

After a child enrolls in the Infant Community (full-time preschool), is there a settling-in period?
A
Yes, there is. We provide a settling-in period to help both children and parents feel comfortable attending.For peace of mind, please contact us for details, such as its duration.

What will the assessment involve?
A
Assessments are individual and child-parents ones. It’s important that you understand the school and that your child feels at ease.

What Kind of School Is It?

Our school is not an Article 1 school (an elementary school as stipulated by Article 1 of the School Education Act). It is positioned as a free school.

Will the academic level achieved at this school be comparable to that of a public elementary school graduate?

Yes, it is. Our school’s curriculum is designed based on the learning content of the Curriculum Guidelines.

Regarding learning at the school, do students receive grades?

We’ll provide you with regular feedback materials to help you understand your child’s learning progress and their proficiency in each subject, area, and field, allowing you to see their growth and development over time.

What are the post-graduation paths for students from this school?
A
We support students and families in their choice of future paths, including preparing for junior high school entrance exams. If needed, we’ll prepare records of your child’s attendance and learning progress at our school for submission to prospective schools.

Yes, we accept enrollment enquiries from any grade level.

Generally the service will run as usual unless there are special programs scheduled.

Can I use the service if their school is closed due to influenza or other reasons?

If your child is in good overall health and has received two influenza vaccinations, we will be able to look after them.

Can you check my child’s homework?

During individual work time this is possible.

Can I experience or take a tour of the service?

Yes, after attending the information session.

If my child is still in nursery (kindergarten), can they join?
A
You can join as a reservation member which ensures enrollment from the first grade of elementary school. If you wish to use the service while your child is still in preschool, please enroll them in the nursery.

Do you provide snacks?

Is it possible to bring a packed lunch?

Yes, but no discount to fees will apply.

What is the maximum possible time extension?

The maximum extension time is until 9pm.
