A Nursery School

Infant Class

This is the time when children begin to discover what they can do and what they want to do, all by themselves.
In a Montessori environment, children are encouraged to engage in activities that interest, to their satisfaction; their body moving according to their will, a sense of accomplishment and confidence, and a spirit of independence.

Time spent in the class

  • Room entry

Activities begin by changing from outdoor to indoor shoes.

  • Hand washing and getting changed

After hanging up belongings and washing hands, it is time to start working on Montessori activities.

  • Review

Information on daily activity progress will be provided. This will include the developmental stages and sensitive periods behind the activities they have partaken in plus how to extend this to homelife, all based on the Montessori Method theory.

Advancing to the next stage

After taking personal development and participation in Infant Community activities into consideration, and once reaching 3 years old, the child will be ready to move up to the Primary Community/Class.
