A Nursery School

The Human Environment

Engaging with a diverse range of people

Children interact with many people as they grow up.
Children are greatly influenced by the people close to them, particularly during their infancy. Under the supervision of an internationally certified Montessori educator, our professional caregivers carefully supervise children on a daily basis.
In addition to working with children of different ages, they will also interact with school-aged children who attend the Z-kai Inventive After School. Through this experience, they will learn from and respect each other, and gain insight into what they would like to be in the near future, such as “I would like to be an older brother or sister like this”. This is us creating opportunities for them to imagine what they would like to be in the near future.

The Physical Environment

Effective data analysis from the Montessori Method

A good example of this comes from the area of “every day life practices”, like when children are using a spoon to empty and transfer beans, pouring water from a pitcher into a cup, or working on a sewing needle. Children make great use of their “hands”. These activities create fluid “hands” and “bodies” movement.
One of our important roles as adults is to “observe” the children, which allows us to relate to them. That being said, no matter how skilled the teacher is,“observations,” don’t tell the whole story.

Cameras equipped with AI technology which capture and analyze the data of children’s hand/finger movements and activity involvement, will lead to more accurate responses to their developmental needs and more appropriate environmental organisation. The more data we can collect and analyze, the more accurately we can meet the developmental needs of each child, and the more appropriate the environment can be.
Such collected data over time can also help to paint a more complete picture which in turn can be provided to parents.

Effective data analysis from the Montessori Method

The collected data can also be used in the training of childcare providers and teachers. Everything we do is for the benefit of children and no matter the size of any development, it can all be reported back to the children and their parents.

The Temporal Environment

Repeating until satisfied

Infants have a strong energy that says, “I want to be able to do it/I want to be able to understand this now.”
By repeatedly working on and concentrating on these activities, children gain self-confidence and independence.
In today’s world where we can passively take in a wide variety of information, children have the opportunity to actively try things on their own. Z-kai Inventive Nursery School provides a disciplined yet relaxed environment where your child can spend time doing and learning what they want to do.
