The Z-kai Group provides learning opportunities that inspire by inviting not only its specialized staff but also experts in various fields as lecturers.
Children are challenged to formulate their own ideas and perspectives and to ask high searching questions while learning from the ideas and perspectives of the staff and instructors.
Children will also broaden and deepen their perspectives through interactions with peers of different ages in the School and with Toyota Woven City’s diverse group of Inventors and Weavers.
We believe that everyone, including the children, will be able to expand their ability to create the future as they nurture their own inventive intellect and sensibilities.
Video data of children’s activities will also be recorded, and analyzed using AI analysis tools and other tools.
We believe that by harnessing this kind of technology, we can capture the developmental stages of children based on objective data, not just the subjective views of staff, and provide an environment that is optimal for each child’s “right now”.
We also believe that by using cognitive and non-cognitive learning’s visual information, together with other data and staff support, we can create an environment where children can look at themselves objectively to proactively define “what they need to do,” and improve their “concentration” and “perseverance”.
We also aim to provide online classes in a form that is more realistic, immersive, and close to the actual experience in terms of sensation, so that children can experience classes that go beyond physical and spatial limitations.
There is no regimented timetable.
Outside of the project learning time that everyone participates in together, children work on individual tasks.
We provide a self-paced learning environment in which children meet regularly with staff to discuss their goals and progress.
Children are expected to create long-term and short-term plans that involve learning and exploring how to use the allocated time for each activity.
